Welcome to the homepage of the Steinrücken Group in the Department of Ecology and Evolution at the University of Chicago (If ü’s are not allowed, then just write the name as Steinruecken).

In our research, we develop computational and statistical methods for population genomics analysis to investigate the forces underlying genetic variation. Specifically, some things we work on are inferring demographic histories, admixture disease mapping, and inferring selection strength from ancient DNA or time series genetic data.
